This jacket is warm and is keeping me toasty in new England winter. Had to exchange the medium for small - it runs a bit large. I like a little extra room to move, but the medium was too loose even with a thick sweatshirt (I'm a size 6-8 depending on the style and usually LL Bean medium is great). I like the fleece cuffs inside the sleeves so the cold doesn't get in. Overall good jacket.
Bought this in brown for my 12 y/o daughter's school trip to Carnival in Quebec. High temp during the five days she was there was nine degrees. This coat with layers kept her warm and toasty, she also looks adorable in it.
I really like the style of the coat! I typically wear an XL jacket, which is what I ordered. In my opinion, this jacket runs quite large, as the L fit me much better. I would call this coat 'warm', however, not ULTRA warm.
I forgot to mention in my review a moment ago, the only criticism I have about this jacket is that the fur on the hood is very tacky, but luckily is easily removeable. Otherwise, great jacket.
