I just recently bought this jacket for the cold Wisconsin weather that we have... And this coat is really awesome!!! It is lightweight yet keeps you super warm. It is easy to move in and wind proof and true to size
I've been trying for two years to replace an old LLBean down jacket that I wore out and this one is perfect. I tried sythetic fill and it was not warm enough and the Baxter parka was too bulky, I even tried another brand which was not as well made. This one is lightweight yet warm, stylish yet comfortable. Best of all - NO VELCRO! I am so happy to find a jacket with snaps instead of velcro which really should only be used for kids clothing. I am usually a petite, but I got a regular because I wanted it to cover my hips and its great to be able to pull my hands inside the sleeves. It's not quite warm enough in windy weather, but i just add an exta layer.
I bought this jacket as an additional winter coat and I absolutely love it. Its very comfortable, fits beautifully, and warm. Sizing is right on...no need to size up or down with this jacket!
I bought this coat because I was very satisfied with the last coat that I purchaced from LLBean. Once again I am completely satified with my choice. I am going to New Hampshire in December, and I will be bringing this coat with me.
