The coat is warm and very comfortable. I especially appreciate the inner sleeves - how they fit like a shirt underneath the outer part of the jacket. My only complaint is with the hood. It is attached with 2 buttons and a zipper. One of the buttons popped off within the first week. Otherwise, a very nice coat.
The clothing made now days, including this jacket are made for little skinny young women in mind. Arms are too long and too narrow for a woman past the age of 60 with any extra width to her arms. I find shopping such a disappointment now. And it's not just my shape changing, because I can still wear all of my older duds that were made a few years ago.
The temperature was 20 degrees this morning, thought it was time to try the new coat. Plenty of warmth for today with only a pima tee shirt on. The large is going to give me plenty of room for layering when it gets really cold in a couple of months. I like the inside pockets, and the outside pockets fall at just the right spot to insert my hands. I think I am ready for real winter weather!
