Very warm, but not overly puffy or bulky. A very comfortable down jacket. I purchased it in the periwinkle and I love it. Just the thing I need for New England winters...Thanks L.L. Bean!
This is the best jacket I have and I have many> It is lite and yet it is warm, soft, comfortable>size is roomy lots of hip space can zip up over plenty of warm clothes> I Love Mine I Would Buy Again.
I purchased this coat and cannot believe all the great reviews. I bought this down coat because my son owns a down coat that keeps you toasty warm with only a short sleeve shirt underneath it. Unfortunately, this coat can't come close. I can wear a long sleeve shirt and a sweater underneath it and I still feel the cold. I'm wondering if it is really a down coat??? I am keeping it only because it would be too much of a pain to return it and it is slightly better than my other winter coat, but it looks like I will be borrowing my son's down coat when I need to stay warm this winter.
Really love the coat. Glad i got a large. Other reviews made me consider going with a smaller size but this fits just right. Have a little trouble with the zipper at times. Hope it doesn't develop into a bigger problem. Can't wait until it gets cold to see how warm it really is!
