I bought this jacket in a medium petite and love it. It is warm and lightweight. The fit is fantastic. So many times when buying jackets, I find the sleeves to be too long. With the petite sizing the jacket itself fit great but had shorter sleeves which were perfect for me. I found it to be generous in sizing. I wouldn't order up but would stay true to size on this one. I can wear mine with a heavy sweater under it and still feel it is not too tight. If in doubt about what size to order like I was, just ask customer service for a chest measurement in a size you are interested in, and get a size based on that.
I really do like this coat, although I think there is a better one out there for me. The hood is really bulky and the buttons that help hold the hood upright come off easily. I love the raspberry color and the jacket is really warm.
kept me warm in europe in winter -- even in the alps! i initially started out wearing an undershirt, a heavy sweater, and then this jacket, but the jacket was so warm i switched to just the undershirt, a thin zip-up fleece, and the jacket. was quite warm in spite of sleet, rain, snow, freezing temps and very strong winds! completely waterproof, no wind sneaked in anywhere, love it! i ordered a large at first (thinking i would need the room for sweaters, etc.) but it was way too big, so i got the medium instead. even that is a tad roomy but fit pretty well when wearing a sweater underneath. love the hood, and the fur helps keep sleet/snow away from your face (fur dried quickly each time and looked just like new after being snowed on several times). the sleeves are just a tad bit short on me, but it wasn't a problem b/c of my undershirt's long sleeves; do wish the jacket sleeves were longer, though. other than that, i love it! even 13,000 feet up in the swiss alps, i was surprised at how warm the jacket kept me! :)
I've had this jacket for the last 2 winters and let me tell u this jacket does its job wind, rain, snow, sleet it really repels all. Its the ultimate and the most warmest jacket u can ever have for those fierce winter months. Its so insulated that u don't feel cold ever the hood goes without saying it stops the wind blowing on u. And its great because I have the hood propped up behind me while I'm driving and it's like a pillow for added comfort. Everyone should own this jacket would I buy another one yes I would.
