This jacket is great in so many ways - the zipper with snaps, enough down for actual warmth, and the HOOD. So glad I found it after having first tried a related product that was sized all wrong for me. The only thing slight issue is that wind can travel up inside the coat - wish there were a drawstring!
Perfect jacket for my daughter. The jacket length is good, The faux fur hood is styllish and warm and as always a very well made coat for the midwest winter.
In 2005 I bought the longest version of this coat during the holiday sales and I love that coat, although I got an ugly color (because the price was too good to pass up) and love the warmth of this line of LL Bean coats. Now, I wanted something less long and a nicer color. I ordered this and it's lovely. I got the teal, it's a beautiful color, although the raspberry was tempting too. I do NOT like the fake animal hair around the hood, but it's thoughtfully and easily removable without removing the attached hood! - That's Awesome! <3 LL Bean and this coat.
