I was delighted with the look of this coat that was touted as being one of the warmest coats sold for LLBean. Unfortunately, I do not find it warm at all. Today is in the high 30's with a slight wind...and I froze!
Looking at alternatives- perhaps a vest underneath or a new coat. Very disappointed as I just can't seem to find a coat warm enough for Indiana weather.
I ordered this in the lapis blue. It just arrived -- the color is very Easter-eggy, really not suitable for me, so it's being sent back. Otherwise, it appears to be a nice, reasonably priced winter jacket. I like the fake fur.
Just got my exchange from a 3/4 length to a jacket and changed color to periwinkle. Just love it! I'm tall and have long arms, and even the sleeves fit, wow, I'm impressed. Thanks L.L. Bean for thinking of us tall gals. The length is perfect, hits me just right.
