I got this in small, my usual size, and it was quite bulky and not flattering. I tried returning it for an XS, but none were available, so I just kept the small since it really is a warm coat (and the hood actually stays on your head - which is huge).
Overall though, I'll be getting a new coat for this winter, something more flattering.
I am 5'8 and I like sleeves long enough to cover my hands. This jacket came up to before my wrist :( and I wear a lot of fluffy vests in the winter so this jacket did't fit well over my sweatshirts and vests. . I'm going to exchange for something else. It is a nice jacket but if you like roomyness this was not a good choice for me !
This jacket is beautiful, warm, stylish, and wonderful. I wore it all last winter. The only fault is the hood -- I agree 100% with crackingtoast who said that with the fur on, you can't see because your head is engulfed, and with the fur off, the hood seems small and it's hard to get it to stay on your head. They do also run large. But apart from this one flaw of the hood, it is the most wonderful, beautiful, cozy jacket and goes with everything. For the price I would highly recommend it.
