I love this jacket! So warm and snuggly! One feature that I appreciate is the sleeves, which have an inner fleece cuff to stop wind from getting in. It would be nice if the cuffs were elasticated though, as I have a feeling they'll loosen over time and lose effectiveness.
I also really like the double zip features; I like to leave the bottom of my jackets open from time to time; when I sit or am driving, especially because I've got a bit more to my hips than the average girl!
The fur trim is nice too, adds a touch of cool to the down jacket, which while it is well fitting, is still a down jacket and kinda makes me feel like I look like a bear. I got the black in a size L, I wanted to go with the M, as that's my usual size (US 10-12) but I'd prefer something that allows much more layering and the M was closer fitting.
Love this Jacket! My daughter has the coat and loves it and that is why I bought the jacket. I live in Buffalo NY and we have pretty cold winters. This is the perfect jacket for Buffalo weather. I think the quality is very good and the price is fair for this quality. The style is complimentary especially with the hood. I love that you can adjust the hood to fit you.
This is another one of LL Beans top quality workmanship. It is comfortable and I feel it will keep me very warm in the winter, it has many features such as removable fur on hood and good size pockets. It is a must buy and the color is super, brown.
