Extremely warm, comfortable, roomy enough for a sweater (but you don't need one). I feel so warm & dry when I wear this coat. Everything about it I love!
I ordered thid jacket on line because it came in petite, looked modern, and was warm and fairly priced. I recently bought a petite down vest from Bean, which I love. I ordered both medium and large. I kept the large and returned the medium. So when I ordered this jacket I thought for sure I would need large. However, it was quite big, and so I mailed it back and am awaiting a size medium. I know I am going to love the medium when it arrives. Sizing seems to always be a problem for me with Bean. I think in the future, unless I know the garment, I will order 2 sizes, and keep one.
It's comfortable, fits well, is a good thickness but not too bulky
Special features I appreciate: front pockets are lined with microfleece and have insulation on the front and back sides of the pockets. Interior side zip pocket. Hood a good size and easy to operate.
How it could be improved: if it was a few inches longer and if it had a skirt or drawstring at the bottom to keep drafts from blowing up inside. And if it had a second, bigger interior front pocket.
