I got this coat roughly 6 years ago when I went to college in Colorado and am about to buy a new one. I got the periwinkle then because it was on sale... and it's on sale again so I'll buy it again! The coat is nice and warm, the fur ruff keeps snow out of your eyes, and all the pockets keep your items safe and keep your hands warm! I'm only replacing it now since the main zipper has broken. The coat has survived several washings and being shoved into various suitcases with great grace. The only other thing broken were the buttons which help keep the hood on (so keep the spares they send it with!) I've always received compliments on the lovely color of my coat so I'm pleased to be re-ordering the periwinkle. Granted upon returning to Texas I haven't used it as much since but whenever I pull it out, the coat provides the same warmth and comfort as ever.
I loved this coat. Loved the color. Love the style but it runs big. A medium fits me perfectly but with this coat, it fit like a large. I would recommend ordering a size down unless you like it very loose.
Bought for a future daughter in law. She goes home to visit a few times a year. Home is near Buffalo, NY, It gets very cold, did I say Buffalo gets very cold. Anyhow she says she loved the coat on her early December visit. The warmth, down, sleeves and length and hood. I did good. Yeaaaaa !!! Not only that, but I bought this on LLBeans two a day special and purchased at a fantastic price. LLBean just keeps me coming back.
I got this few weeks ago for my college daughter. It is very stylish and really looks great on her. She has gotten lots of compliments on it. She loves it.
