I love my new coat which I purchased in black. I usually wear a Large in most things but as usual with L.L. Bean, I only needed a Medium. And even that size is very roomy on me. (I'm 5' 2" and about 130 lbs.) This coat is so warm that I'm not sure I will be able to wear it come March! I no longer drive with the heat on in the car! I love the "fur" on the hood and also love how it zips off for when I'm ready to wash this coat. The hood is very big. When it is raining or snowing I put it on and have to hold it in place because I honestly can't see in front of me! But at least you know it will cover your whole head! I might have to order another color...
I needed this jacket for cold Okanagan Winters, and I got the product that I needed for a great price. The periwinkle suits my olive skin and Dark hair very well and is priced very reasonably! This jacket WILL keep you warm.
The only thing is to make sure you go a size down because I am 5'10" and 150 pounds, usually wear s/m and the small was way too big!
Other than sizing, great jacket! And great phone service!
Just got the periwinkle jacket in size medium. I was afraid it would be too big, I take a small in most items, but it fits perfectly with room to move. The color is beautiful and it looks great. I bought it to be my 'around the house weekend' jacket but it is too nice. I love it,.
I bought this coat in the beautiful raspberry color and I just love it! Nice and warm, not bulky. I usually wear a large but listened to other reviews and ordered the medium. It fits perfectly and the sleeves are long enough. I highly recommend this coat. Wore it yesterday in 17 degree weather and was toasty warm.
