I bought this jacket last year, and it was warm enough to withstand the cold, damp German winter. I do suggest a dark color, however, because the light blue I bought last year eventually became permanently stained around the cuff of the sleeves. I'm buying another of these this year for winter in Korea, but in black. It definitely fits large, so size down and you'll still have plenty of room for a bulky sweater. It is a bit boxy, but really does the trick for keeping you warm! Highly recommend!!
Bought this for my daughter as a spare and it now has become her one and only jacket. Love the quality, size, color and the fit. Will buy another in a different color for myself. GREAT JACKET.
I bought a large and could have gotten a medium and still worn a sweater under it. It's that boxy. If you are looking for a fitted coat, this is not it. However, if you want a coat that is warm, comfortable and can be worn with any sweater underneath, then you've hit the jackpot. I love it to throw on when it I have to run out and do something without thinking of what coat i'm going to wear.
I LOVE THIS JACKET!!! I took the advise of the reviews and got the XS and it fits perfectly. I had returned another jacket for zipper problems and not even mentioned that the sleeves were too short. This jacket has sleeves that are just absolutely great. They are long enough and have inside cuffs! So pleased I got this jacket!!
