I love this jacket--it is so warm. My only complaint is the hood, which falls forward if the neck isn't tightly fastened. I removed the fur(which isn't that attractive) and that seems to work better for me. I purchased the periwinkle, and it is a beautiful color. I'm really happy w/this jacket--great for walking my dog on really cold mornings.
This was given to our daughter age 41 and she loves it. It is very warm and looks great. The removable fur on the hood was a real plus, as she doesn't like fur on hoods. : ) Really a great jacket.
I received my jacket a few days ago and could not be happier. I ordered a Petite Small in Black. I literally ordered between LLBean and several on-line competitors about 10 jackets/parkas and this is the only one I am happy with. It's just the right amount of casual for errands/everyday wear without feeling like you should be on a ski lift. I also like the fact that it has a hood - it's a little awkward with the velcro flaps/fur, but very adjustable - the hood/fur or both can easily zip off - lots of options. I don't want to say it "dresses" the coat up with the fur, but it does give it a different feel. The vanity sizing of companies is very funny - although flattering! I don't ever wear a PS - I'm 5'0 - 135 lbs - have a 36DD chest and wear a size 10 pant, but a PS fits, so whatever! I find that the down parkas are too overwhelming for my height and some of the jackets are too short - this is is just right and the two-way zipper is a nice feature too. Very happy - may order the brown next year if they still have it! Thanks for a coat that fits!
I love this jacket. The color (raspberry) is great and although the jacket feels light it delivers a lot of warmth. The hood with fur like trim was too big for me, without the trim the hood is fine. The fit is good. I use a coordinating scarf and get many compliments .
