I really like this jacket for both warmth and style. However, I would like for it to say "L.L. Bean" on the outside of the jacket. It's only listed on the label. Also, it's a bit big for me--I find that sizes aren't always consistent. I've bought a medium-sized jacket in the past and it's smaller than this jacket. It might help to list "runs a little larger" or something like that in the description. Also, though the body is a bit bigger, the hood closure (Velcro) is too tight.

This is a very warm coat/jacket! I ordered it in chocolate & love it. It has plenty of pockets & is nice. I did notice that I cannot get makeup off the collar after washing it. So if you wear foundation, be aware of that. I usually wear a long-sleeved shirt under it, & noticed that after wearing a short-sleeved shirt with it, that my skin was irritated...maybe from the down poking through; I don't know. But it is the warmest coat I've ever owned & I love the style.
I bought this for my mother. She loves the color. It is beautiful. The hood is a nice feature and the jacket is warm and soft. The petite large fits her perfectly (a 80ish yo short grandmother, you can picture her, I'm sure). Very happy with the purchase.
