ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I chose this after reading many reviews. I am 5' 2" about 128lbs. I bought the medium petite in chocolate and it fits perfectly. Plenty of room for layers. It is warm, and I have really tested it! The hood was the best surprise. It fits very well, and the faux fur zips off. I love it.
Imagine my delight after wearing this coat for the first time and feeling as though I wasn't wearing a winter coat at all! I especially like the soft fleece cuffs and collar area. Went out today and it was 20 degrees with a bit of wind and I didn't notice it. Thanks LL Bean!!!
According to our daughter, this coat which was a surprise for her, was a little too bulky and may have benefitted by a waist draw string to provide a better fit. Also, cuffs inside the sleeves would add to the comfort. Other than that, the coat is a good buy. Time will tell about the overall durability.
I ordered this jacket online with very high hopes. It looked super cute, until I tried it on. It was very boxy without much form in the tummy area. My husband commented that it looked like a maternity coat. As any woman knows, once you hear that something makes you look pregnant when you're not, that item has to go. So I will be returning it. I did not wear it outside so I can't attest to the warmth factor. I liked that it wasn't super puffy and the length was great. I was wearing a lightweight sweatshirt and long-sleeve t-shirt when I tried it on and it seemed like it allowed for bulk underneath. Really wish it had worked out because it was everything I was looking for in an everyday jacket.
