This is one warm coat. Huge hood which I thought was silly at first but when the cold wind, rain, and snow is blowing its all I need to keep toasty. It runs big, so for my frame I could have done with an XSmall instead of an Small - but when I got the coat I didn't want to part with it. Furthermore, it is not a sleek, fitted coat. it is a nice big winter coat so don't expect to look like you have a waist in this garment - but who cares if you are warm and toasty.

Bought a black one last year and brown one this year. If they make it I will buy an ivory one next year. Love the hood, it keeps the wind from freezing my ears and back.

Bought this last year in white even though I was afraid it would get filthy but had always wanted a white jacket. It is the warmest, lightest weight jacket I've ever owned. Yes, it got dirty but I pre-treated the worst spots (cuffs, neck, etc.) and washed it as directed and it came out sparkling white again!
Someone complained that the down flattened after it was washed. Here's the trick - buy a 99 cent can of 3 tennis balls and put them in the dryer with the jacket. Run it through the dryer with the tennis balls at least twice until the jacket is absolutely dry. My jacket is just as fluffy and warm as it was when it was new. Love this jacket!
