I ordered this in a large misses. It seems to have a little too much room in the torso area, but a thick sweater or fleece will help with that. That is why I gave it 4 stars, while it is warm, it does not fit snuggly to the body and would be better with a fleece lining instead of the smooth cold to the touch material inside of this one. I also got the winter warmer jacket in the same size and it fits great and the fleece lining keeps me snuggly warm.

I am very happy I purchased this! It is awesome in every way. It is the lightest & warmest jacket I have ever owned. Perfect for New England winters. The only thing is I wish it had a drawstring around the waist.
Usually I am very pleased with any LL Bean products, but this coat just doesn't cut it. It is far too roomy around the trunk (even though it's my normal size) and the result is that when you're walking cold air gets shot up the front of your torso. I walk 5 blocks to my office each morning (in Maryland, it doesn't get that cold) and this doesn't keep me warm enough. Also, it hits at an ackward place on your hip, making you look shapeless. I wish I could return it but it was a gift and I have no receipt etc.
