I had this same jacket in red and accidentally left it in Scotland. I was so mad at myself because it was a perfect travel coat, with the zip-out lining and all. So this one, in periwinkle, is a replacement for the red one which I loved.
This is the best rain coat I have ever owned. It is totally waterproof and very warm. When I want the rain protection on hotter days I easily zip out the liner. The hood is quick to snap on/off. Absolutely worth every cent.
This is the BEST raincoat I have ever had! It kept me dry in an all day downpour during a field trip to the zoo. I was outside for atleast 4 hours. My husband had a "water-resistant" coat and was soaked to the bone. I was bone dry! He immediately ordered a real "water-proof" raincoat as soon as he got home. The hood is well designed and helps to keep rain off my eyeglasses. The fabric is soft and breathes well, which is critical in the humid GA climate, but it is not warm in the wind. I took out the liner and use the coat for 3 seasons, but need something else for cold, wet, windy days. We attend alot of ballgames and the dampness really is miserable. We get more freezing rain than snow so I think I will try the 3-in-One coat for real insulation.
Coat got me all the way through Ireland dry as a bone! It is really waterproof. The only complaint is that the lining is a little thin - not good when the wind blows hard!
