This is my "go to" coat for traveling. With the zip-out lining and enough room for layering, it can work in a wide range of temperatures, from freezing on up. I love the removable hood, no belt to lose, internal zipped pocket and cell phone pocket. It's a great raincoat and it washes well (but dry clean the wool lining.)
I was disappointed by this coat, especially after reading some good reviews. The construction quality is great and it's actually a warm coat considering that it's not very thick. But I feel that it doesn't fit and lay very well.
Great coat for keeping dry. Convenient zip on/off hood and lining. Hearty northerners will be comfortable wearing this coat in temps as low as upper 30s. Agree with comments about sticking zipper on this and other similar coats. Had to use snaps only a few times when I was in a hurry. The zipper works fine now after a few months of use. Will likely try the full length in the DX version.
THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE BEST RAINCOAT THAT I HAVE EVER GOT.IT LOOKS GOOD,FEELS GOOD AND DOES THE JOB IN ALL THREE SEASONS.HAD ALOT OF COMPLEMENTS.LOVE THE OUTSIDE POCKETS.THINGS DONT FALL OUT WHEN YOU CARRY YOUR COAT.NICE COAT.
