I wanted something that was waterproof but also warm for cold, rainy weather - this coat fits the bill. I love the fabric, and the weight of this coat. I usually wear a medium, and I got a medium for this coat too. But it is a little awkward on the lower half - I wish they would copy the fit of the trail model rain coat which is a little roomier and more comfortable. Other than that, its a great coat.
I have an unlined version of this raincoat/all weather unlined coat and it has been so good that I ordered this lined version for colder weather. Perfect for travel as it is light enough to carryor pack and warm enough that it does not require multiple layers. It is also windproof and fits nicely over a fleece or sweater in my normal size. Finally a good travel coat!
A great coat, great fit, even for my long arms and it was perfect for playing with an otter hound in the rain. The wool lining was thinner than I expected but it kept me warm with two thin layers.
l checked out this coat and like it. I'm going on vacation this summer and need a coat that packs well and is also a raincoat. This fits the bill. Thank you.
