I bought the H2OFF raincoat to wear on a trip to Amsterdam this month. I knew that it wouldn't be warm enough for Amsterdam weather, so I wore a light fleece underneath. It cut the wind really well, and with the fleece was quite warm. The hood was great for the rain too. It provides quite adequate warmth for Seattle's spring weather.
I love the H2OFF series. I have 3 colors/styles. They fit well, wash nicely, and stay neat and stylish throughout the year. I still need the LONG one...great to wear on the playground and for bus duty!!!
I have been looking for a jacket/coat for travel. I received this coat after returning a jacket that didn't fit. This coat is exactly what I was looking for. The fit, the fabric, the zip out lining - everything I was looking for. The worknamship and fit is excellant -- of course it's from L.L. Bean.
