This rain coat is very well made and surprisingly soft to the touch. I gave it 4 Stars because it looks a bit "boxy" for me. I have a slim, sporty built and I guess I just don't fill it out the way I should. I am an XS and I got an XS, but it still has quiet a bit of room for me to fill out. Other than that, a great addition to my California winter wardrobe.
This coat is going to be a great weight for three seasons in the Midwest. I don't think it will be warm enough for winter, but it should be perfect for spring, summer, and autumn. The fit is comfortable, and although the lining is not very thick, I think it will be good for chilly days in spring and fall.
My only concern about the coat is the amount of wrinkles in the fabric which are a result of how it was folded in the packaging. I have had the coat on a hanger for several days and have used a cool iron, but it still has quite a few "fold lines." My coat is the light tan color, and in a darker color the wrinkled fabric might not be as obvious.

Superior rain coat designed well for any weather without being bulky. The zip-out liner provides sufficient warmth when "zipped in", especially with a warm sweater, for all but the very coldest days. It really is waterproof although I haven't worn it in a "monsoon". Great for travel in uncertain weather conditions; the liner is not too bulky to pack if not needed to fight cold weather. The hood stays in place better than most hoods.
I was somewhat disappointed with the jacket and the lining. The sleeves and shoulders did have have a heavy lining. It will be fine for spring and fall but not a winter item.
