I bought this on the markdown daily. I got one for my husband to. He loves his and it works for him. As for me its another story I find even with the mesh lining its very flimsy the front velcro never stays closed the sipper is not user friendly and most of all the hood is to small I have an average size head but very long thick hair this hood just makes it with nothing to cover the very front or forehead. I'm going to return it . It would be great if you made the hood to include the visor that some of the jackets come with like the kids model.
I've had two of the H2Off long coats. They kept me warm and dry, so I jumped at the chance to acquire the 3/4 length. This version allows more freedom of movement when working in the barn and teaching riding lessons, or walking dogs in the rain. I bought the wool-lined model and am quite disappointed there is no lining in the sleeves. The body lining is thin and inadequate compared to my previous H2Off coats. The fit is comfortable -- I'm 5 feet tall and weigh 120 lbs. and Petite Small works for me -- as long as I don't wear a bulky sweater. The Fitness Fleece tops are perfect inner layers. I also miss the cape, which deflects rain so well. I'm keeping this coat but I am not thrilled with it, and I'll have to have another, warmer, waterproof coat since this one is flimsy compared to its predecessors. And fairly pricey considering the reduction in quality!
I ordered this coat because I LOVE my full length coat of the same line. The fabric, fall and comfort were not the same at all, plus the hood was extremely constricting. I sent it back.
