I loved the color and style of this raincoat. I had trouble getting one that fit right. I usually take a large petite. On this one the sleeves were way too long. The coat may have been a petite, but the sleeves were not. The way the sleeves were made you didn't have any way to shorten them. How come you don't have things in petite sizes in the Dedham MA store?
I am 5'2" , 145 lbs, broad shouldered and busty, the size large in pettite was "Huge" on me, the sleeves are the length of a regular size, came down to my knees and I could have had another heavy coat on under it and still had room, so I think a Medium pettite would have worked better and still had room, I returned it and did not exchange because I thought it was to plain looking, no detail on it at all, but good quality and light weight. Good if you are looking for plain no frills look.
I bought this at the Bean Outlet in a nice chocolate brown (I don't know why the color was discontinued- it's very nice). Great coat- tried it in our torrential summer rain- I was dry. It fits great, has room (but isn't baggy), and breathable (doesn't make you swelter). Stylish and somewhat slimming. I don't have to worry about not having an umbrella with the hood. Good investment in a coat.
I love this raincoat. In Florida, most raincoats are too hot but this one breaths and doesn't overheat. It doesn't feel like it would be waterproof but I wore it for hours out in T.S. Faye last fall and stayed dry. I am so glad you carry it in women's sizes. There isn't anything I would change about this coat. Someday I hope to have the jacket version to wear horseback riding.
