This coat is just what I hoped it would be. The length is just above the knee and the sleeves are good, too. I am short armed and legged and finding a good fit is always problematic. The color, a bottle blue, is perfect for spring. I am planning an Alaskan cruise and I think this coat will fit the rainy inner passage weather just perfectly.
It's not a bad coat by any means. It is a good quality coat. I was just bored by the color choices possibly. I ordered it in red and when I received it thought it was a dreary looking muddy red. It might satisfy for an autumn outing. Instead I traded it in for a cheery "lobster" red LLBean Coastal Macintosh coat and it was a better choice for me. Sizing as noted by other reviewers - if you want to wear a fleece or sweater underneath, order 1 size larger than usual.
This raincoat is well made, and the detailing is nice. The fabric is bulky, so this would not be a good travel coat. The hood, chest, and shoulders fit well, but the coat is huge through the mid-section. I am tall and thin, though. I think this coat would fit most women whose proportions are more average. I wish the coat was available in a Tall Small. I purchased a competitors raincoat, which was more expensive, but runs longer in the sleeves.
