This is a good looking raincoat, but offers little protection against cold weather. I ordered it with the wool liner, but the liner is very thin, and does little to protect you from the elements. The cut is narrow across the hips, so if you want to wear a coat underneath and don't have slim hips, it may not fit.
After reading the other reviews (thank goodness I did!) I ordered several, 2 in 2X and 1 in 3x. So far, I'm keeping the 3x, but it is tight fit w/only a shirt and sweater and the wool liner does seem very flimsy. I wear a 2x and even sometimes a 1x in all my other clothes, so I know that this cut is very tight, esp around the hips. B/c there are few good options for large women - and winter is here! - I'll probably keep and use the 3X.
I love the style and fit but wish the lining were more substantial. In cold, wet weather it is not adequate. Also would wish for deep and/or zippered pockets - have already lost a glove from the shallow pocket provided.
I ordered this a few months ago when it was on sale but only started to wear it recently with the weather changing. I love it! Roomy over work suits, length perfect for keeping dry, fabric soft yet wind isn't penetrating. The so-called "wool lining" is minimal; I'll need a fleece or sweater soon so next time I'd order the mesh lined and save a few dollars.
