I love this coat. It has great features - a detachable hood, deep pockets, wind resistant material and warmth. The length is just right for me - mid shin. Keeps me dry during a shower when when the wind blows.
I returned this coat because it is of such poor quality. I have the previous version of this coat and absolutely love it. When I received this one, I simply couldn't believe the absence of quality in everything from the fabric and lining to the zipper. I have always been happy with LL Bean purchases until this coat. I hope LL Bean will take notice and go back to the previous version with its exceptional quality.
I love this "rain" coat. It is totally impervious to rain, yet looks like an all weather coat. I particularly love the lilac color, the quality, length and fabric. Well worth the price.
I was looking for a coat that would fit over winter sweaters, and cover most of my legs, but not be cumbersome while riding on an open ferry in the rain. This coat is perfect! It is long, but not too long (I'm 5'8"), and the extra lining is just enough extra comfort. I even wore it over a cocktail outfit recently and felt it was dressy enough, with the hood removed. I'm really happy with this coat.
