This trench coat exceeded my expectation and I'm thrilled with its quality. It is durable, fits perfect (and I'm tall so that is saying something), and repels the rain, snow, and wind. Thank you LL Bean!
I bought this because I had an earlier version of the same coat and loved it. The old one had an internal drawstring at the waist to give it a little shape and a nice liner that I could wear a little into the winter. First - don't waste your $$ on the wool liner - it is ineffective. Second, the coat fits like a sack - I hate to be seen in it.
On the plus side, it does keep me dry - but I'd rather have something that I'd like to wear every day, not just in the rain.
I love this coat! It's long enough to provide coverage when rain is blowing, and it runs large enough to allow for another jacket or a sweater under it when it's much cooler. It's well made and perfectly fits my needs.
