This locker is very adorable. However, the directions were the worst ive ever read. They were very confusing and misleading. It took my "handy" husband almost 2 hours to put together. Besides that we love it.
I bought this as a place for my three children to stow their backpacks after school.
The product arrived quickly (we live in New England), but unfortunately I couldn't put it together right away because the little wooden dowel rods were missing from the hardware bag. I called customer service and got a replacement bag of hardware quickly. The instructions are terrible, however. Someone at LLBean needs to proofread these things. For instance, the "metal connectors" (cam locks) are labelled R in the parts diagram but M in the instructions. However, having previous experience with RTA furniture I was able to get the thing together myself, and so far, so good.
Another note, the "ivory" is more of a soft white, don't expect cream, but I'm happy with it because it matches my existing woodwork.
I bought this for my mudroom for this kids to leave book bags, coats and shoes. It is the perfect size for the area. Not going to hold a lot of stuff but great place to start/end the day for the kids.
I was shocked to see how small this is for the price. I should have realized it since I did measure, so it's my own stupid fault for paying so much. This really is only practical for toddlers and young children.
