"I absolutely love the Pet Blanket. I have leather seats and I use it all the time in the car for my puppy. It's the best product ever! I use the fleece side most of the time but I appreciate the canvas side when my pup gets dirty after hiking or running around in the park. Then when I get home I just throw it in the wash. It's great."

"They wear fantastic (haven't noticed any wearing at all) The blankets wash and dry great! We have all sizes, some are for the couch, some for the car, they even end up on the ground around the campfire. We have 4 dogs, 2 of which are 80lbs, one 16lbs, and one 10lbs."

"In 2006, I purchased 4 Fleece Pet Blankets. As I was pulling them out of the dryer this morning I estimated it to be about the 50th time I washed them in the past 3 years! They still look new. I would highly recommend this product."

"It is difficult for me to write a poor review on an LLBean product but I am since this was a gift. I sent to to my sister and her family for their new dog. She contacted me to let me know that the monogramming was sloppy and could barely be seen. She has sent it back to be redone. Hopefully she will be pleased with the replacement. It was embarrassing to have sent a gift that my sister had to arrange to send back."

"I bought this pet blanket for my dog and we love it! It is tidy and neat. We got it monogrammed with his name and it looks great too. My dog is a Bichon Frise, about 14 pounds and we purchased the medium which is just right. Make sure to measure out the dimensions on a flat surface before you buy so you can see exactly the size you are getting. Even though he is considered a small breed, the size small would have been much too tiny. I agree with the other reviewers that this is more of a mat than a blanket. You can put this right on your bed or furniture if the dog comes in a little wet from the rain and everyone is happy! We are very pleased with this purchase."

"This is an excellent blanket that is slightly stuffed so it is more like a sleeping mat than cuddley blanket. The fleece is very soft and plush and the denim backing is tough, but soft enough for the dog.
My bichon frise loves his blanket. The medium size is perfect for the car and couch. It is too big for his crate, unless folded in half.
If monogramming make sure you pick a bold font with wide letters because the plush fleece makes it difficult to see thin wispy lettering. New Wave block was too thin and hard to read because of the plush fleece. I think the Block lettering will work better. The monogramming was in gold on the fleece side, centered and about 4" from the long edge."

"The construction is sturdy which is important as our dog is a Norfolk Terrier puppy who likes to chew. She loves it! We wound up using it on the floor. It never made it to the crate. We ordered the smallest size and it is more like a mat than a blanket."

"One of my dogs is a carpet digger and already made a few big holes. He always goes back to the same spot even if we cleaned up and tried to remove if any smells attracting him but no luck. So, we decided to let him dig but not the carpet but this Fleece Pet Blanket! We bought two of them when we traveled to Main from Illinois with our two dogs and visited the L.L. Bean Flagship store. We originally did not think to use this way but we threw the XL size (it’s huge, BTW) on top of the carpet hole. Yes, the dog goes back and DIG, DIG, DIG. But nothing happens to this blanket. We need to straighten back again a couple times but the blanket is so durable and no damages from hard digging for more than two years. Now my dog knows he is allowed to dig as long as on this blanket but not on any other parts of carpet. He hears less and less No from us because he CAN dig this blanket."

"This blanket is adorable. I got the large Khaki one for my yellow lab pup...he'll grow into it, but he already loves it! The monogramming looks great too. It's good for the car too b/c opposite of the fleece is almost a denim material that stays on the car seat. I'm thinking about buying a second one so that I don't have to move it from my jeep to my office for him every day!"

"I got this to coordinate with the pet tote in the same colors and had it monogrammed with my dog's name. It matches perfectly and is high quality.
I had expected it to be more like a blanket that my small dog could curl up in... It is a pad and somewhat stiff [I am washing it right now to see if it gets more supple]. Even though I checked the measurements I was surprised at how small it is. But, I think it is so practical that I am going to order three more for my big dogs - after I measure them."
