It Does the Job
PostedDecember 23, 2009
I've worn it for a month now and it handles the temp range as advertised. I think I've worn the inner fleece jacket alone almost as much as both jackets together - I like that the inner fleece has a smart design to it. I really like the lightweight feel of the entire system and especially appreciate the length. As with other reviews, there is a problem with wearing anything bulky in the sleeves but guess I'm just getting use to the slight inconvenience. A two-way zipper would be helpful.

Love this jacket!!!

Got this jacket as a early Christmas present from family. Love it!! Wore it the other night when it was -8 degrees outside with a light sweater and wasn't cold. Love the fact that it isn't very bulky too!!

Great Travel Jacket
PostedDecember 6, 2009
I took this jacket to Bermuda last Christmas and was so glad to have it. I wore it without the lining, just the lining on the beach, and then both lining and shell back in NY's frigid weather. I'm taking it to Florida this year and buying one for my true love. Best bet: buy one size larger to fit comfortably over the sweater/sweatshirt that people are complaining makes it too tight.

Just not what I wanted or needed
PostedNovember 10, 2009
It's just not as warm as I had hoped, and like other reviewers mention, it's nearly impossible to get a sweatshirt underneath. I found that I needed a sweatshirt underneath it to walk the dog (30min) in 45F. Other coats like this have warmer pockets, too. The lining of the pocket is this weird stretchy nylon. $169 is an awful lot for a windbreaker!
