I found this coat to be very warm, however, it was somewhat uncomfortable and provided limited movement. Hard to get on and off as the fleece sleeves stick to your shirt like velcro. Eventually, I returned the jacket.
Bought this jacket for two week travel to Austria in December. Loved the fact that is was lightweight, however, the constant on and off during the day was very much complicated by the sleeves not having some type of silky liner to facilitate sliding in and out. The arms just always stuck while trying to get it on. Warmth was also lacking. On top of the Alps and the cold rainy weather in Vienna, the jacket did not have the warmth (even with the LLBean merino cardigan sweater underneath). It could also use a zipper which opens at the bottom. I thought I would use this for skiing this winter but feel it will not hold up in the warmth department. The fleece has a stiffness to it which does not give it a warm cozy feeling. This was the only jacket I brought to Europe and worn during different weather conditions but constantly worn. I did love the color (tidal green) and look of the jacket.
