This jacket proved it's self the first time that I wore it while walking on a cold and wet Pacific North West Beach. I was nice and toasty. Most important also dry.
I purchased 8 of these coats 3 years ago for my asst. track coaches. We have plenty of rainy practices/meets here in the NW and these jackets are great! The coaches love them and weather isn't an issue. The jacket seams still hold out the water, the lined fleece is warm, and they look great. When my niece needed a NW jacket I didn't hesitate and ordered her one. I of course chose a different color than mine so she wouldn't be embarrassed at practice. Can't go wrong!
Purchased this jacket for a trip to Alaska. Wanted something that I also could use here in Florida and it's been perfect. I've already used the fleece during a recent cool spell and both the fleece and shell together will be great.
I ordered a size just a touch big to layer clothes and it was perfect. Order to size. Also purchased one for my parents and they're ecstatic! Mom says best coat ever.
Just wish there were some additional color choices.
