ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
This jacket is very comfortable and very good at keeping out the elements without making it feel like it is a rain jacket. I have not had any problems with the inner sleeves coming out at the end of the jacket. I also have to say that I really appreciate the way it was packaged and shipped - they bundled them in a plastic bag as compared to an oversized box with a bunch of unnecessary packing, thanks LL Bean!
the jacket is great but i am not completely happy with the way the collar sits when the hood is rolled up in it. would have been a better design to make the hood removable.
For all the bulk and layers, my husband did not think this jacket would be warm enough for cold Wisconsin winters. Also, at 6'1", it just fit in length, but TALL in LL Bean is too big.
I myself first bought the womens version of this last year and recently bought one for my husband. Great on wind & rain protection. Love the oversize hood style for rain protection. Only wish the inside sleeves for the fleece lining was better secured it can be a little of a battle getting arms out of sleeve without fleece resistence and wanting to pull out. But sleeves are manageable and I would recommend this jacket for sure!
