Fine Jacket--not very heavy

ProsComfortable, Performing as Expected
This seems like a well-made, well-fitting combo. It seems a little lightweight for truly bad weather, so we'll see in January. until then, it's great.

ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
This rain jacket is one of the nicest foul-weather garments I have ever seen. Extremely well-made, and versatile for warm and cold weather. I can't imagine what could be improved upon re: this product. Bravo.

It's just doesn't compete. For $20 more, you can get a jacket elsewhere with pit zips and a zip in liner that someone covered for function... that is you can get a liner that doesn't stick to EVERYTHING. Putting it on, it sticks to your sleeves and bunches them up around your biceps (come on... they do know we're gonna wear it with more than a t-shirt on?, right?). When you wear it, it rides up... your liner needs a liner! It should absolutely NOT DO THIS!
Other than that and the pit zips, you could use a double zipper so you don't have to pull it up like a skirt when you sit in the car (I prefer the half buttocks length coat).
It was light and seemed well constructed otherwise... I'm surprised at the jump in price between this jacket and the one that has more... to pay $300 (except it's gortex and not Tek!).

Comfortable jacket. A bit of trouble taking off with long sleeves though because of the inside lining material. But otherwise, great jacket.
