Overall, I love this jacket. It's almost perfect. The fleece keeps me toasty warm and blocks out the wind. The shell by it self is a perfect fit, not as long as a parka, but more coverage than a jacket. It's also nice that the hem of the fleece liner can be cinched to keep out drafts. My only complaint, and the reason it doesn't get 5 stars: it needs the ability to unzip from the bottom. It's just long enough to be a pain in the way when driving. If I could unzip it from the bottom up like my Rigged Ridge parka it would be perfect.
Temperatures recently have been unusually cold in Virginia in the twenties and thirties with wind chills in the teens most days. They day I got my jacket I took the dogs for an hour long walk in this cold weather. I had a long-sleeved tee underneath the jacket and stayed incredibly warm and dry. Best jacket I've ever worn hands down.
