Good, not great
PostedDecember 30, 2010
Good jacket. Not great, but good. Overall it's pretty nice but has a few glaring cons to it - mostly what people have already said. A) It definitely needs a 2nd zipper for sitting in the car, B) the sleeves of the fleece are really hard to get into when you've got anything but a short-sleeve shirt on, C) I personally dislike the roll-up hood, D) I find it a little disappointing that the Weather Channel jacket is only warm up to 20 degrees.
Like I said, it's good, but not great. I'm keeping it because I like the 3 in 1 versatility of it. Haven't really had a chance to test the waterproof-ness yet. I bought it for a trip to Iceland, so I'll let you know!

I bought this for my husband for Xmas and he loves it. It looks great, the blue and grey colors are very nice, and he says it is very comfortable.

I bought this jacket for my husband who claims he never needs a jacket, has not taken his LLBean jacket off since he received it.

Weather Challenger Jacket

Nice coat but the pockets are unforgivable. You cannot expect to put your hand in the pockets and keep them warm. The interior of the pockets are plastic.... very cold. Absolutely NO insulation. Hands must be gloved before putting them in the pockets which then cuts the wind only. I'm sure there are better choices to make.
