Pros: The jacket is warm, comfortable, waterproof, blocks the windchill, and men's jacket has and extra pocket on the front (great for keys or wallet in bad weather). I love the fact that the hood goes right in the collar and adds extra warmth around the neck. Cons: The hood is not lined, the pockets are not lined, and the women's needs the same pocket that the men's jacket has on the front.

This is a great coat for the weather that is consistent in central Newyork as we receive 150-200 inches of snow each winter season. This coat is flexible enough to meet all our season. Nice Job LLBean!

Purchased this jacket in the nick of time just as wintry weather hit Michigan! Perfect for my long walks with two huskies that love to be outdoors in all kinds of weather - wore it in steady rain the other day and stayed comfortable and dry. Good wind-stop outer shell as well - and the lightweight hood fits over a fleece or wool hat nicely. I am a tall woman, so the sleeves in the women's size L were too short, but the men's M is a great fit. I have already received several compliments on the Crisp Blue/Blue Horizon colors.
