I purshased the same rug, different scene. Loved it at first. The directions said it could be put in the washer. NOT. It was ruined...I will definitely try to get my money back, but for one I was not happy...
The rug originally caught my eye because (like many others) the ‘pup on the rug’ resembled one our crew. Combined with the fact that the dog was digging, made the resemblance uncanny. Although we didn’t originally know where the rug would reside, it has found a permanent home as a mat for the dogs’ water bowls. The rug has been spot cleaned/washed several times and the colors are still vibrant. It has soaked up anything that the dogs have been able to dish out.
Very happy with my purchase. I purchased three of them. Very pretty Rugs. Highly recommended. If you are looking for Rug that bright up the place, this is the one.
I now have three of these rugs--golden retriever leaping off pier after ball (just like my golden!) at front door of condo, lab on snowy hill in kitchen, and now the heron in my bathroom. These are great rugs that add a nice artistice pop of color. Please keep making these LL Bean! My only wish is that the backing was just a bit tackier--the one in the kitchen tends to slide around a bit.
