I bought a vacationland hooked rug at L.L. Bean three years ago and was so pleased with it I wanted another one just like it. I was disppointed with the quality of this new rug compared to the one I purchased three years ago.
I have bought about 10 to date. They are fun to throw by the doors going outside to the lake or yard. I like that the rug washes well in my machine. They do tire out with our heavy use and washing over several years. But since not too expensive we pick out another one. We have given about five of the ten for gifts.
This is my second Vacationland Rug. I use them inside my front door, and they are always popular with guests. The designs give a cheerful impression as people enter.
The big problem with these rugs is that they are not washable. So, depending on how many people you have trooping through, they may get dirty quickly. I find they last about 1 to 2 years.
I bought this one on sale, which made it a better value.
they are fabulous ! i have all of the selections and have been purchasing them as wonderful gifts. they stand up to rough wear and make a nice entrance at the front door.....
