The rug looked fabulous in the catalog, and it looks exactly the same live & in person. In fact, it looks far more expensive than charged, having the look of a woven, sculpted rug. We love the dock scene, so much like where we live, so we love that too. The quality is everything you'd expect from LLBean. Haven't washed it yet, though, but we're betting it performs just as well as all of our other LLBean purchases over the last 35 years.
