I'm beyond disappointed that my boots don't even last 12 months before they crack and leak. This is my second pair, and they are being returned this week for literally dozens of cracks and the back seam coming apart. These boots are used for basic walking in the grass type wear, walking the dog in the morning. We are in the Northeast ,so they only get used spring and fall They aren't stored near heat nor in extreme cold. It just makes no sense. The description says they are sturdy rubber that won't crack yet I have two pair in under two years that have. I seriously think they need to examine my return and find out what is wrong with the material. I love Bean's products and am grateful for their guarantee. But something is wrong - I would not give these as a gift, and would be very unlikely to recommend them to someone else.

Ordered the boot in blue without insert thingy. Fits true to size. Afraid insert would throw off the sizing and I HATE returning things! Heel stays put. I'm wearing in my yard, perfect. Not wearing them as high style fashion rain boots like the teenagers do-I need function!

they are replacements for a pair i bought in 1999, hope they last as long, but it is hard to give up the old pair, they split in the back seam, a flower planter in their next life!
To my surprise the boots were a medium with but are running narrow which is great as I have a very narrow foot. Are nice to protect jeans or slacks from all the splashing when walking thru the rain.
