ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I got my Wellies in mid-winter and with the warmers, they've been perfect for my commutes and wandering around Boston, even when it's super cold (and we've had a crazy winter). They're much more comfortable than rainboots I've had in the past, and they're holding up well. I fully expect them to last for years, and all year round.
People don't think of TN first when they think of rainy places, but when you guys in colder places get blizzards, we often get it all in rain and thunderstorms... and these (just the solid green wellies) were a good purchase for those days. They seem very sturdy and are more comfortable than the cheap rain boots I've bought in the past. I think the rubber is nicer on these than on some rain boots because they're not overly heavy on my feet and because they're not as shiny as some rain boots are (I'm going for something an adult can wear as opposed super-shiny, brightly-colored, patterned boots that a kid might wear). They seem true to size and width, and they have just the right amount of extra room so that they work fine with thick or thin socks. One thing that will be good for some women and bad for others is that the calf circumference is pretty big compared to lots of boots on the market (I have pretty average calves - boots generally fit over them but with little extra space) - if you have larger calves, you'll probably like the extra space and have room to tuck your pants into them if you want, but if you have thinner-than-average calves, there's some chance that there will be too much extra room. (Also, these are just as nice as that brand of rain boots whose name I won't mention that all college girls wear now - and they're literally half the price.)
