I ordered a pair last year and LOVE them! Reading the reviews helped a lot! I went down a size to a 7. I can see where people would love or hate them. These are a substantial pair of rain boots, which is much different than the cheap ones you see everywhere. I am easily able to tuck in my jeans to keep them dry. I get tons of compliments on them, too! They are bulky, but never have to worry about them leaking or falling apart.
I eyed these boots for months. Finally ordered them and oh my sweet goodness! They are better than I thought they would be. I ordered two warmers to have through the fall and winter months and I was so happy that I did. I was worried that the size may be off but I followed the recommendations of other reviewers and couldn't be more happy.

These boots are waterproof, as expected, and I love the plaid. The tread is a better than cheaper versions I have seen in other stores. The only complaint I have is that they are a little heavy. I feel like I walk a bit slower around campus, but they are comfortable and keep me dry. I love the Wellie warmers available from LLBean as well. They make these boots wearable almost year-round.

I have had these boots (in the red/yellow plaid) for 2 years and they are still in fantastic shape. They're made of really thick rubber with a comfy arch and sole. They can be somewhat heavy, but they have NEVER leaked and mud and dirt wash right off. They are great boots that fit really well on my (med-wide) feet.
