I got these boots last year to wear around campus and I absolutely love them! The calf has more than enough room to tuck in jeans, but the rest is bit narrow (although my feet are a bit wide, so maybe it's just me). All of my friends somehow manage to end up with wet feet in their boots, but I've never had that problem, even walking through several inches of rain.
I visited an LL Bean store and got the printed wellies and absolutely love them. They do run a little on the large size, I normally wear a 7 1/2 but the 7 fit me perfectly. These are perfect for playing outside with my little guy after a rainstorm :)

I have had these wellies for a few yrs now but today I really put them to the test and I was kept dry in a good downpour. Size wise they are rt on; I have big calves..you know, the kind that I cld never buy zip up boots unless its a wide calf fit...and these boots fit just fine. Now, I don't tuck my pants in, I do roll them up but independent of that I can easily slide them on/off!

I received my Wellies in a timely manner a couple of weeks ago and have waited an appropriate time to let the world of Bean shoppers know that these stylish boots are the best thing that the good L.L. Bean family has put out yet! I LOVE them. I love the color/brn suede, the way they fit and wow, I wear them every morning to walk my dog up into to the dewy woods and they do keep my "dawgs" dry, warm and cozy. Thank you Bean family.
