When the Wellies arrived, I wore them in and out of my house for 4 hours. They are very comfortable, warm and fit well. They have very good arch support which is important to a flat foot like me. I wish there were more colors in my size because I would buy them!
These Wellies were a Christmas gift for my oldest daughter, who recently visited relatives in Ireland. She came back in love with the farmhouse where she and her husband stayed, and with the wellies she wore while traipsing through the Irish countryside. The Bean's Wellies are an updated, yet just as classic, version of the Irish wellies she wore in her photographs. I think she wears these every single day. They're her favorite Christmas gift, sturdy, well-fitting, wonderful color! A+++ on yet another fabulous product!!
I purchased the solid green color and have ordered the liners (which I think are super adorable). The size I think runs a bit small but I found the calf area to be roomy. I was easily able to fit my jeans folded or otherwise in and expect the wellie warmers will fit as well. So looking forward to having these particularly during the camping season!
I recently purchased these boots for inclement weather. They are quite attractive, serve their purpose well, and are a good length. I am 5 feet tall and they fall about 1.5 to 2 inches below my knee. The boots are slightly stiff but not uncomfortable. The footbed itself is true to size. As for the calf width, these boots definitely run small. I am a runner and have normal size calves, but these boots just fit. I can get my calf, a thin sock, and a thin pair of boot leg jeans (ie the bootleg portion of the jean folded onto itself) into the boot with virtually no room to spare. If you have calves slightly larger than average, you might want to pass on these.
