I love the look of the LL Bean Wellies but wish they were available in more print colors! I have a bright yellow LL Bean goretex rain jacket and would like rain boots to match.
I, too, was excited to get my new Wellies. I ordered them when they were on the Daily Markdown (which was a plus because they were 50% off!) They only had the yellow anchor print ones, which I wasn't thrilled about, until I saw them in person. Much better than expected! However, when I tried them on, they fit great, except for not going all the way up my calf. They are WAY too narrow and I am going to have to return them. Bummer!
I love the Argyle design and I was eager to wear them by Thanksgiving, but ALAS! there was no way these boots could fit around my calves...way TOO narrow! I had to return them and I was glad to get my money back...they are quite pricey for what they really look like.
I ordered the Ducks on a Pond print in 7's and they are so cute. I love the other 2 prints but decided to get the ducks since that is very unique to LL Bean- anywhere else you can find argyle or plaid but only at LL Bean can you get ducks on a pond. They do seem stiff but they are rubber boots so I expect that. I'm sure I'll get use to it. I also ordered the cream liners for them and think they are super cute and can't wait for them to get off of backorder!! The blue isn't a bright in person as online but they are still very nice.
