These boots are perfect for our visits to the farm with our 4H club. We spend our time with the sheep, goats and horses and don't have to worry about our shoes.
I had borrowed these wellies when visiting friends in Portland, OR, and absolutely loved them. They are perfect for muddy terraine and comfortable for some walking, such as with farm animals. I did, however, order a size larger to accommodate jeans and thick socks.
Size up was a good idea for these. It's been raining a lot here and my side yard does not drain well. Wellies perform well while mowing over in that area or just "wading through" to and from the back yard. These as well as the gardening shoes are a blessing. I've rinsed the shoes off under the faucet a number of times and they're holding up well. I haven't used the boots much yet, but I'm sure I will. Only thing is the calf circumference is a bit uncomfortable because calves are heavy...
