I read all the reviews before ordering these boots. I was impressed with comments about how they gave more support than other mud boots. I was careful to order down in size, even though reviews were mixed about the boots running large/small. These boots are not only too small to wear with my wool socks in early spring and late fall, but they were also too tight in the width of the boot itself. Many others commented about the leg of the boot being too tight on the calf, but that was not a problem for me. I wear an average "B" width shoe/boot, but these boots were way too narrow for comfort. Unfortunately i am sending them back.
I've just received my snazzy wellies and can't wait to use them for the first time. The fit is good and the height seems great. They'll look great at the marina with my yellow parka - which is lined with the reverse colors of the anchor design. I think they'll keep my mind on the tasks at hand and not on keeping my feet dry during spring and summer rains.
I LOVE MY NEW BOOTS!I HAD HIGH WATER WITHIN A FEW FEET OF MY HOUSE IN THE PAST TWO WEEEKS WITH DUCKS AND SWANS SWIMMING ACROSS MY FRONT LAWN.THE BOOTS WERE GREAT FOR CLEANUP AS THE WATER RECEDED.I SHALL KEEP THEM BY THE FRONT DOOR UNTIL SUMMER.
